About Bob

Bob moved to West Michigan in 1991, where he met his wife and raised three children. He and his family also have two dogs they consider part of the family. Bob enjoys gardening, music, theater, and is a huge college football fan. He appreciates the diversity of nationalities and cultures in his community and church.

Bob attended Grand Valley State University, where he studied economics and was elected captain of the 1986 Laker football team. His studies sparked a passion for numbers, critical thinking, and problem-solving. After graduating from GVSU, Bob began his career as a Mortgage Loan Officer in 1987 and has worked in various market conditions.

Bob is most proud of the long-term relationships he has built with his clients throughout his career. He has worked with many clients on multiple mortgages for their primary homes, often becoming friends with them and getting to know their families. Bob particularly enjoys working with first-time homebuyers and has guided many through the process of financing their first home and beyond.

He believes that his success and longevity in lending are due to his reputation for honesty and understanding of each customer's unique circumstances. Bob is always accessible, even during evenings and weekends, and maintains open communication when his clients need him. He is still accepting new clients and is eager to learn their stories, match them with the best mortgage products, and discuss their future needs to ensure their financial success.
