With more than 20 years at Mercantile Bank, Cesar has built his career around helping individuals and families navigate the mortgage process with confidence. He believes getting a mortgage shouldn't feel overwhelming and takes pride in explaining options in a way that is straightforward, personal, and easy to understand.

Education and community involvement are especially important to Cesar. He teaches first-time homebuyer classes to help people better understand the mortgage process and prepare for homeownership. For more than 12 years, Cesar also led the Grand Rapids Hispanic Festival, helping grow it into the largest Hispanic festival in Michigan, and has served on various nonprofit boards throughout the community.
