About Don
Don has been in the mortgage industry since 1991, with most of his experience in Holland and West Michigan, aside from a few years in Chicago. Having worked in the mortgage business before the advent of computer technology, through the Great Financial Crisis, and the Pandemic, Don has seen it all. These years have taught him valuable lessons about customer service and finding unique ways to help his clients. Don specializes in construction lending but also has expertise in all aspects of mortgage lending.
He lives in Zeeland with his three kids. In his free time, Don enjoys golfing, biking, going for walks with his dog, attending Alabama football games, and spending time with his close friends from his days at Hope College.
Fun Facts
- I am a HUGE Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. My boys and I go to games often. Our 6 yr old golden retriever is named Saban, after their long-time coach.
- I used to live and work in metro-Chicago. My kids and I go there frequently, it is like my second home.
- My middle name is Tibor, which is Hungarian. My Grandmother was born and lived there before she immigrated to the US. Her childhood friend had that name, so my parents gave that as my middle name. Most people outside of the business world call me "Tib" as a shortened version of my middle name.
