About Jon
Jon Lyons has over 20 years of experience in the residential lending industry. He is passionate about helping clients find the right mortgage loan products to fulfill their dream of homeownership. Whether it's purchasing, building, or refinancing a home, Jon finds great satisfaction in supporting his clients' goals. His lending experience includes working with first-time homebuyers, vacation homes, Doctor/Dentist clients, waterfront properties and construction lending. He is also deeply committed to his community, serving as Treasurer of the Board for the Little Traverse Conservancy and as a Board Trustee for the Petoskey Yacht Club.
Jon is married to Christy, and together they enjoy outdoor activities, embracing the changing seasons of Northern Michigan, as well as traveling and watching sports. They have three boys: Jason, Jordan, and Brady. Jon believes that Northern Michigan is a truly special place, one that everyone should visit.
He has been recognized as one of the Top 1% of Mortgage Originators in America by Mortgage Executive magazine every year since 2016.
Fun Facts
- I was born in New York City.
- I am currently living in the house my grandfather purchased in 1942, he bought the property for $1,500. The property is on Little Traverse Bay (Lake Michigan) with 100FT of lake frontage in Petoskey, Michigan.
- I have been on 15 cruises.
