Through hands-on training, industry expertise, and a strong sense of community, WMCI is preparing the next generation of construction professionals.

West Michigan Construction Institute (WMCI) was founded with a clear vision and simple but important goal, provide a place where people could learn by doing, discover the opportunities that exist within the skilled trades, and continue growing throughout their careers.

Today, that vision comes to life every day inside WMCI's state-of-the-art facility. Students train in hands-on labs guided by experienced instructors who bring real-world knowledge into the classroom. For many students, what they learn one day can be applied on a jobsite the very next.

But WMCI offers more than technical training. Students say it’s a family, one where instructors, staff, and classmates support each other and celebrate success together.
