GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Sept. 23, 2026 – Mercantile Bank is providing $150,000 in funding to eight Michigan nonprofit organizations through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank Indianapolis) Community Multiplier Member Match Program, supporting affordable housing initiatives that strengthen communities across the state.

The FHLBank Indianapolis Community Multiplier program helps member financial institutions support nonprofit organizations advancing affordable housing efforts through matching grants. Funding awarded through Mercantile Bank will support initiatives focused on housing stability, housing counseling and education, organizational capacity, and affordable housing development and preservation.
